Capella |
Madsen Capella
All in one – or modular
With Madsen’s new Capella, you can combine otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
testing, screening tympanometry and infant hearing screening in the same
Windows™-based system. In fact, Capella is the only system to offer both OAE
and middle-ear diagnostics.
Because Capella is software-based and modular, you can choose only those
testing options you require now and add more later. Each testing mode is
offered as a separate application module in the form of software and
accessories.
The following application modules can be freely combined to suit your
individual requirements: Distortion Product OAE, Transient Evoked OAE,
Screening Tympanometry, and Echo-Screen™ TEOAE screening. Both OAE modules
include a mode for measurement of Spontaneous OAE’s. Echo-Screen is Madsen’s
handheld OAE screener.

Bio-Logic OAE Systems |
Bio-logic's new otoacoustic emissions (OAE) system offers
the ultimate in portability. Connect the Scout Sport hand-held unit to a
computer, load the Scout software and begin testing. As small as a
videotape, the Scout Sport can be easily carried from one computer to
another to test in different locations. Or, if your office based computers
are in high demand, use the Scout Sport with a notebook computer to create
an independent portable system. The Scout software features easy to use
menus for program control. Within these menus, you can define a library of
OAE test protocols. Customize your distortion product OAE test protocols to
your choice of stimulus intensities (L1 and L2), F2/F1 ratio, test frequency
range and points per octave. Measurement based stopping rules, set to your
desired criteria, optimize the averaging time for each DP test condition
depending on how robust the DP response is and how much noise is present.
Transient-evoked OAE test capability can be chosen as a Scout Sport system
option. Use the same high quality probe to deliver a broad frequency
stimulus and measure the TEOAE response. Set up and save multiple TEOAE test
protocols with various averaging epochs and stimulus intensities for any
application whether it is auditory screening or diagnosis. To insure quality
testing, Scout precedes OAE measurement with a probe-fit procedure. The
waveform and spectrum graphs provide feedback about the quality of the probe
placement in the ear canal. Adjustment before beginning the test saves you
valuable time.

Audera |
Discovered and developed in the 1980s at the University
of Melborne, a new category of auditory evoked potentials is the solution
for frequency-specific hearing assessment in infants and children. The
auditory steady-state response (ASSR), also called the steady-state auditory
evoked potential (SSEP), meets all the criteria for follow-up diagnostic
testing. Auditory steady-state responses: can be reliably recorded in
sleeping neonates and children, are evoked by frequency-specific tonal
stimuli, can be detected objectively using statistical algorithms, have
thresholds that are highly correlated with behavioral audiogram thresholds,
and can be used to estimate the behavioral pure tone audiogram.

OAE
Systems
Diagnostics OAE solutions
Interacoustics offers three different OAE systems:
-
TEOAE25 transient evoked otoacoustic emissions software
module for the Eclipse
-
DPOAE20 distortion product otoacoustic emissions software
module for the Eclipse
Both the DPOAE20 and TEOAE25 are available in combination with
the
EP15/EP25 diagnostic ABR module. Combine ABR and OAE testing
(DP, TE or both) in one portable unit to double your potential for
testing reimbursement.

EroScan DPOAE
ON-LINE DEMO |
The Maico ERO-Scan Combo offers diagnostic OAE
capabilities using Differential Diagnosis. Differentiate cochlear from
retrocochlear pathology when used in combination with auditory brainstem
response (ABR) and observe changes in cochlear function during episodes of
Meniere's Disease. Confirm suspected non-organic hearing loss (malingering)
and monitor the effects of ototoxic medications. OAEs will often be abnormal
before audiometric changes are noted. Detect early signs of hearing loss
from noise exposure (musicians, factory workers, others) and recognize
auditory neuropathy. The presence of normal OAEs and abnormal ABR findings
distinguishes this low-incidence disorder.

IHS
Smart OAE |
Intelligent Hearing Systems Smart OAE Advanced features such as In-The-Ear
calibration, variable artifact rejection, high resolution spectral analysis
and report generation flexability will greatly maximize testing efficiency.
With easy-to-use menus, testing parameters including frequency, frequency
ratio, artifact rejection level and stimulus presentation count,
audiologists, doctors and researchers can quickly acquire accurate data and
assemble polished reports. You can even choose your own default settings to
customize and further reduce testing time. |
