BioMAP

Approximately 5% to 10% of children are diagnosed with learning disabilities. Some of these learning disabilities may be explained by subtle auditory deficits that contribute to delayed and abnormal reading skills. BioMAP is a neurophysiologic test used to quickly and objectively identify disordered processing of sound that has been associated with learning impairments in many children. This procedure was developed in the Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory at Northwestern University.

Bio-logic is planning to release BioMAP to the audiology community in the summer of 2006. For more information on BioMAP, click on the links below or contact Bio-logic.
