Introducing the Navigator Pro M·A·S·T·E·R
The Infant Audiometer

The Multiple Auditory STeady-State Evoked Response System from Bio-logic is innovative technology that facilitates obtaining frequency-specific auditory threshold information, quickly and efficiently.

With M•A•S•T•E•R you can:

  • Obtain a physiologic audiogram to assist with hearing aid fitting when a reliable behavioral audiogram cannot be achieved.
  • Assess up to 4 frequencies per ear simultaneously. That’s right!…8 frequencies tested all at the same time. Reduce test time, up to 3 times faster.
  • Rely on state-of-the-art statistical methods of response detection (F-ratio) to assist interpretation with increased accuracy at predicting behavioral audiometric thresholds, even for normal hearing and mild hearing loss.

Grason Stadler Audera

Discovered and developed in the 1980s at the University of Melborne, a new category of auditory evoked potentials is the solution for frequency-specific hearing assessment in infants and children. The auditory steady-state response (ASSR), also called the steady-state auditory evoked potential (SSEP), meets all the criteria for follow-up diagnostic testing. Auditory steady-state responses: can be reliably recorded in sleeping neonates and children, are evoked by frequency-specific tonal stimuli, can be detected objectively using statistical algorithms, have thresholds that are highly correlated with behavioral audiogram thresholds, and can be used to estimate the behavioral pure tone audiogram.
